Campus Building
At SBS, the infrastructure and other facilities are not built with the mere purpose of housing the occupants or to comply with the norms for approval. The infrastructure has a soul which strives constantly and silently to offer pace, tranquility and peace of mind. It is built with the purpose to enable and stimulate people to pursue a path of excellence.
Classrooms
At SBS are designed to accommodate 24, 36, 60 or 120 students at a go, depending on the class size. The classes are air-conditioned and internet-equipped, and students have access to an LCD and OHP for presentations. The classes also boast superior audio systems and video conferencing facilities, which enable the faculty and students to connect with their counterparts in universities across the globe.
Resource and Book Bay
The SBS library is airy and well-lit, with books on various subjects and areas of the students’ interest. The library also seeks to add several online journals in course of time, besides adding to its existing stock of books at a steady pace.
IT Lab
The college has a well-equipped computer laboratory-cum-information centre with the latest laptops and Apple Macintosh computers, making it a preferred destination among students for academic work. Besides, not just the computer laboratory, the entire campus is connected by wireless network, in addition to an elaborate LAN network.
Cafeteria
At SBS, even the cafeteria, or the ‘kitli’ as we call it, is a very important component of the students’ daily lives. It acts as an extension of the exclusive spaces we have created for them, and serves as a hub of uninhibited thinking and banter. After all, what could be better than sharing one’s views on current affairs over a steaming hot cup of coffee?
